Movement?

Since Rhonda asked, I figured I would put up another post. (Now I really feel supported, Rhonda! LOL! I really do appreciate you caring. That’s what friends do!) I received a call from our realtor in NY today. She told me that the house had been shown 3 times and we had an open house on Sunday. The open house had all of 1 couple who showed up (which seems pretty typical), but they were not interested. One of the other showings was done by our realtor and the report is the couple is quite interested. According to the conversation, Judy told them to head off to the bank, do their homework and make sure they were prepared financially because she wasn't going to hold a good house for anyone who wasn't truly serious. She said she would touch base with them tomorrow.

This is somewhat exciting, but still not quite what we are looking for. Judy said she would call me back later in the week with the report. I said, "No, better yet, could you call me back with an offer?" She laughed and got about as excited as I was about that! Praise the Lord that there is movement. Please continue to pray that a good offer will be made and we can begin to start our new life here without such financial struggles. Selling the house in NY and being able to close on the one here will be such a HUGE relief and stress reliever too.
