Latest News on the House

Since many of you may be wondering what is happening with our "old" house, I thought I would post a quick update. Our realtor called today and said that there was another showing of the house (much foot traffic since we moved). They liked the house, but the yard was not big enough for them. We have gotten a lot of reports that people like the house, but are still looking. I guess it's good, but we'd really like to sell it.

There is a gal who is quite interested in the house...has been since November, but she is in a holding pattern because she is waiting for a grant for being a first-time home owner. She apparently is still VERY interested. She received a letter saying that they had received all her paperwork and that it would now go before the review board. If she qualifies, it is quite likely that she will be able to take over our grant we have thru that same company. This would be huge. We would not have to pay that back.

Please be praying with us that this happens quickly. This process can take months...even once the offer is accepted because the $ has to be there, the bank funding, the inspections by the grant company and any other inspections too. We need the house to sell soon.

Thanks for praying with us.

We're still hoping and praying it sells quickly... and that would be great to not have to pay that grant back! God does still do miracles!
