A Dream comes to Fruition!

By now, most of you know I have been with the Pampered Chef for just over 6 years. I love it. I never dreamed I'd be doing this. Cooking has never been my thing. In fact...when I started with the Pampered Chef, my mom told me, "You know, Lisa, you have to know how to cook to to that." Oh ye of little faith!

Since I graduated with a communications degree, I always thought I would be behind a camera at a TV station (or anchoring if I could make it that far) or writing for a newspaper which is actually the last "real" job I had before having kids. No way would I have thought you'd find me selling kitchen tools in front of groups of people (I passed my advanced speech class with a c or c-!) I have never really enjoyed getting up in front of people. I still don't in any situation other than my Pampered Chef business! (LOL - Beth and Ronda, that's for you after our conversation about texting words!)

On December 1, after many years of hard work, I have seen a dream/goal come to fruition. I promoted to director! I'm officially a director! I still find it very hard to believe. My team has asked if it feels any different, but I'm not sure it has completely sunk in. I keep thinking that maybe when I walk stage at Leadership in January. I don't know. I am excited because this will give me a big pay raise (one of God's ways of blessing us for working toward financial freedom). It also enables me to be paid for the job that I have been doing in training my team.

I want to say a big thank you to my director Mary Beth for helping me, training me, and walking me through the last 2 weeks! Directorship would not have come quite so quickly without her! Thanks. Thanks, also, to my team: Tracy, Christina S, Roberta, Adela, Erin, and Christina L. Although we are spread throughout the east coast, and midwest, we are all a team and I feel so privileged to be a friend and leader to each of these wonderful ladies. Look out world, here comes the Huber Cluster!

If you would like to be a part of our amazing team, I'd love to talk with you more to see how the Pampered Chef would fit your lifestyle and needs.
