Today the girls and I went to see Flat Stanley, the Musical at the Honeywell. If you've ever read the book, you'll know how cute it was. The idea of the book is that Stanley was a typical young boy and he got flattened by his bulletin board during his sleep. Neither the doctor nor the pshyciatrist could fix him. He was used as a kite, stared at, and then decided to travel the world with just the cost of a postage stamp.
Here are some picture from the musical. (We were sitting in the balcony, so they aren't the greatest, but it will at least give you an idea. (In case you are wondering how they made Stanley flat, it was a costume that looked much like life jacket material.)

This is not Flat Stanley, but I thought this deserved some notice! Aren't those girls cute?

Here you can see Stanley flattened and laying on the end of his bed in is bright orange shirt.

You can see Stanley in his orange shirt standing on our side of the stage.
