Sick, Sicker, Sickest?

I just returned from the doctor's office (mine this time), and it was a good thing I went. I have an ear infection in my left ear, the beginnings of a sinus infection, and the beginnings of bronchitis or pneumonia in my chest. Since I am unable to take antibiotics orally, I got my usual injection (an interesting thing trying to relax enough for the shot with 2 children who are tired of each other, tired of waiting, and sick, sitting in the room!). I have to go to Wal-Mart later to pick up my eardrops. I don't figure it is too worth it to go now since it takes them SOOOOO long to fill the prescriptions.

Lilly is home for a 3rd day. Her fever went down yesterday, and then spiked again to 102 during the night. She has had a bad headache and was complaining of a serious stomachache. Phil was concerned that it could have been appendicitis, so I called the dr on call last night and she said to wait 30 minutes more for the Motrin to kick in and than decide what we were going to do - ER visit or wait until today. When she woke up this morning, her temp was lower, almost normal, but as the day progresses, it gets worse. She's now begging to go to bed - a sure sign she doesn't feel well.

Katy seems to be doing much better and is tired of having her sister home. It seems a continual cycle of picking happening today. It's tough when mommy is sick too!
