The Dr. Called

I finally got a call from the Dr's office this morning to say that my ankle is not broken, the joints seem to be in the right location, and that I should continue treatment as I have been. I can call for stronger meds if I need to, but I don't want to.

I guess it will just take awhile to heal. One of the girls on Phil's student crew came over last night and she had a brace on her ankle from injuring it while playing wally-ball a couple weeks ago. She's still limping and struggling too. Oh well.

There is another bad side effect of this too...weight gain from lack of activity and ability to work out. This really stinks as I have been doing really well working out and building the muscle tone from fat. I can still work the upper body at the gym, but not the ankle...I also realized yesterday that some of the stretches that I usually do are too painful. I can't do them until the foot gets better. I miss really working out and working out as a family. We were really enjoying that. I guess we'll get back to it. I have been able to do some water exercise in the pool, so I guess I'll just have to really work on that.

Anyway, I thought you might like to know that my ankle wasn't broken.
