The Ankle

I thought I'd put up a post for my loyal bloggers. Several of you have mentioned not seeing anything NEW on here.

Here's the scoop on my ankle. Today is Tuesday the 10th of July. It has been almost 2 weeks since I injured my ankle. I am still limping, still in pain, still taking meds, and still know as little as I did a week ago. I saw my doctor last Tuesday. She told me that she thought it was a bad strain or sprain. I needed to keep it wrapped, ice it, elevate it, and take as much Aleve as was necessary. I was also told to call her office to have an x-ray ordered if I was still in as much pain on Friday. I called. I got the x-ray, and I still have not heard. I called yesterday, and they said the nurse would let me know. Phil pushed me to go get hte x-ray because every day I waited, was 1 more day of pain in Chicago. Well, if it's broken, I guess I just deal with it. There was a slight suspicion tha there might be a slight fracture that was a hairline fracture or something.

Guess I'll keep you posted.
