Gone is my First Grader...Here is my Second Grader

Today marks yet another milestone in our lives...Lilly is no longer a first grader. She is a second grader. I made a really big deal last night about kissing her for the last night as a first grader. She groaned and rolled her eyes. Then, when she got out of the van this morning, I made sure she hugged and kissed me since I didn't think that she would ever be able to hug me again as a first grader!

I went to the party around 11 that was their end of the year party. Here is a picture (which has become a tradition now) of Lilly and Mrs. Braswell. Interestingly enough, Mrs. Braswell will be her teacher again next year since her class is a combined 1st/2nd grade class!
