Smitty Blogs

I was just cruising the internet and found out that Michael W. Smith (Smitty), my HERO, blogs. If you go to his website, www.michaelwsmith.com, you can see his blogs (now, he has an assistant that helps him blog, and I don't, but I still think is it cool!)

I learned some cool things today by browsing my 2 favorite artist's websites. 1) Michael W. Smith and family are hosting a cruise in July to Alaska. Unfortunately, I will be in Chicago at Pampered Chef National conference then, so I probably won't be able to go, but I think it would be super cool. 2) Both Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith have new albums due out and both are on tour. (unfortunately, I don't think my friend Mel who has worked with him is out this time on his tour.) 3) They will both be in this general listening area and in another which I may soon frequent, so I should be able to see at least one of them! 4) Smitty's song "There She Stands" will be aired on TBN on a special called "The Cross and the Towers" about 9/11 (it will air on 9/11).
5) I just can't get enough of Smitty's music, pics, etc. (I make note that if you ever vist me, you'll see the picture of my husband and I with Smitty at the NY State fair!) I also have an autographed one by my desk...inspiration, you see!

Well, it's time for my favorite ice cream - peanut butter cup, so I must go. I don't like mushy ice cream. That's why the Pampered Chef's Ice cream scoop is so good because you can scoop the ice cream when it is rock hard, and have no problem. Sorry, gotta plug the goods...you just can't beat them.
