Seeing my parents from afar

Those of you who have family that is any distance will know what I mean when I say I get those "LONGINGS for HOME". Talking on the phone is nice, but just doesn't have the same feeling as being together. As we were doing bedtime snuggles tonight, Lilly started crying because she misses my parents. I totally understood. I feel that way almost every day. It has gotten a little easier over the past 18 months, but not much.

Anyway, I knew that I would be able to see them online tonight, so I jumped on over to www.fln.org and checked out the sharathon picture gallery from this afternoon when my parents worked answering the phones (they are very popular people, so they ALWAYS get their pictures taken and put online when they work). Sure enough, there are 2 of them. Although they aren't the greatest of pictures, it's still my mommy and daddy. So, I'll share them with you.

Sometimes it would just be nice to be there in person, get hugs, and even let the girls go off and play with their favorite playmate...Grandpa! (Oh and eat some of "Grandma's yummy bread".)

Oh, and so you know they really do laugh and have fun, here's another look!
