A visit with a long lost friend

I had the pleasure of having my friend Lisa Wright visited today. I haven't seen her since the summer after we graduated, so that was almost 9 yrs ago. We've kept in contact via email, a few calls, and now Facebook, but haven't seen each other.

It was so good to be together again. We met my 2nd semester of college (fall 95). I lived across the hall from her sister Annette (who kept telling me I'd really like her sister). She was right. We had a class together shortly after and we became quick friends. We chatted throughout class (it was only interpersonal communications class...we were both bored in that class.) and really hit it off.

When we got together this week, it was as if we had never been apart. Katy loved having her around. Lisa visited here for a bit, and then we headed off to La Chareda for lunch. Amazingly, my picky eater even ate steak on a corn tortilla. She even asked for more! I was very surprised. We then visited Goody's, and came back so Lisa could head off to Muncie to see some friends there, and I could get to school to pick up Lilly and the boys we carpool with.

Here's a couple pictures from our time together.

Katy took this one!

Oh I am so glad that you were able to spend time with your friend. It makes life so much better to have friends around. I have certainly felt that sweetness this week!
