Nothing New

I realized I haven't blogged in about a week. I've been keeping busy. Lilly goes back to school on the 21st, and I start homeschooling Katy then too. I'm nervous about teaching Katy because they say that Kindergarten is what sets up their whole educational "career". We did preschool last year, so I know I can do that, it will just take a LOT of organization and planning to pull this off and do my best. I really want to do it.

Tomorrow I'm going with one of the girls on my PC team to what is called First Friday. It is downtown in Marion and full of booths, activities, music, food, and more. This is the first time we are trying this, but I think it will be fun. I'm praying for bookings and good leads. I started doing something new this week. I started calling people who have been invited to (but not attended) parties that I have done since moving here. I am working to connect with new contacts and pique interest to create sales and parties. I really want to grow my business and want to promote to director. I have to have contacts in order to be able to do that. I'm also joining the Chamber of Commerce to meet more people and make new contacts. It should be fun networking with other business owners and connecting with people who may need a PC Consultant.

I got my box of new products yesterday. It is one of the most exciting things about a new season...getting my new products. I will receive one more soon - my new piece of stainless steel cookware (Small Saute pan)! We were sitting down at the table eating lunch when Phil asked me, "Are you expecting the FedEx man? ...He's in the driveway." I jumped up (along with the girls who barely met me get my own box) and ran to the door. I couldn't even wait to open the box...I opened it before even eating my lunch.

Well, it's off to bed...
