See the results of a day's work (almost done for the day)

It's now 8:35 pm and I wanted to show you all that has gotten done today. It is amazing. The yellow is totally done (thanks to Phil and Jeremy!). It looks really nice.






This next picture is to show you the contrast between what was and what now is:


This next picture is taken from by the front door looking into our dining room.


The red is done ..at least for the first coat. We are a bit in shock. It's not quite us, but here's to Aunt Becky's designer who said, "If you don't like it, keep painting and it will grow on you!" Phil said he almost threw up when he first started painting. He doesn't like change or boldness in painting, but...we shall see. I was extremely surprised at the color too. I describe it as a combination of red, orange, and pink. You'll have to see it to understand. Hope it grows on us.

For those of you who scrapbook, this shot should look like a page ready to be laid out. (To give you perspective, this is the wall behind the buffet.)
