Addicted to Grease

So, some of you may think this a funny title. I'm not talking about the gross leftover from making bacon. I'm talking about a TV show!

A bunch of my friends have posted about how they are addicted to different shows like Survivor or American Idol. I haven’t gotten into those. My addiction is to Grease…you’re the one that I want. I really like it. Maybe it is because it’s new…or at least a new twist on things, but every week I get sucked in. I always plan to tape it, but you can only vote for 2 hours after the show, so I have to watch or I won’t be able to vote. I’m big into voting. At www.nbc.com, you can vote up to 10 times. (I think that is wrong…an abuse of the system, but hey, if it helps, I guess I can try too.).

So here are my top picks from this past week: Laura and Chad. They were the best. I really enjoyed their performances. Laura has a fantastic voice. I don’t really care for Ashley or for Kate. Kate seems to much she’s putting on a front. Laura would be good because she’s a brunette and different.

There is one guy, Kevin, who is from Rochester, NY (which is about 2 hours from Corning where I used to live). I was rooting for him, but he really isn’t that good. Even if he is a fellow NYer, they have to be worthy of the position. I really thought he should have gone this past week.

I was also bummed about the bottom 4. Juliana was better then Kathleen. I must say Kathleen (known as Spiritual Sandy) has some funny tips and it is cool that she is a Christian and leads worship at her church. She also leads them all in prayer before they go on stage. I think she’ll be gone this week. She just doesn’t cut it. She acts too old and hasn’t gotten into it like some of the others. It doesn’t seem that she puts her all into it. She seems like the kind of person who could be quite an actress, but I haven’t really seen it.

I’m looking forward to seeing what this week has. I always have a pen and paper handy to write down which ones I really like each week.
