Christmas has been very special this year. We are enjoying being back in NY for the week. We have been enjoying spending time with my nephews (and of course their parents!). Today has been a very LOUD kind of day. Since we didn't have any "scheduled" activities besides meals and naps, there was need for other activities. Some of those activities included: racing around the basement with Little Tykes car (getting stopped by Officer Phil and Officer Lytle when they were breaking the speed limits), chasing Aunt Lisa with "worm juice", scaring with "shark" teeth, running in circles, driving Grandma nuts, and then being "kicked out" to the gym. They played basketball, football, preached, sang, danced, and who knows what else. It was nice when it got quiet.
The kids have finally gone to bed, goodbyes said, and the adults (most of us) have been enjoying each others company. Phil went to stay with the boys (who are in bed sleeping) so that Andy and Natasha could come here and enjoy spending time with mom and dad. Andy and Natasha are staying at a friends house because it would have been so crowded at mom and dads. I think he actually was looking forward to it so he could have some time without people around and get to watch cable tv.
Tomorrow is a pretty laid back kind of day. We don't really have any plans. Andy and Natasha leave around 9 and then Grandpa flies back to Rhode Island after lunch. We may get to eat Chinese or else go to Olive Garden tomorrow. I just hope no one at this Olive Garden has the Norovirus. Apparently someone at the Castleton, IN, OG had the virus and made hundreds of people sick. They had to close that restaurant for the weekend and sterilize it all. I've heard there is even a lawsuit in the works now.
I have so much more I could write about, but I'm heading off to bed! Good night.
