The Play Set

At about 9:30, the truck arrived with our play set. Here are a bunch of pictures to give you an idea! It's almost done!

The yellow slide is not ours. They do 2 play set installs/day. The yellow slide belongs to someone else.

The green ball is Katy's bouy ball.

Phil goes out for yet another logistics conversation.

This shows the beginning of the floor for the playhouse.

This shows putting on the panels.

The trapeze is up...this is what the bouy ball goes on (Katy's request for what we need for our playset.)

Katy's bouy ball.

A look inside

Waiting...waiting...

Is it done yet?

Putting the 2nd swing up

A view of the monkey bars.

Do you think they are excited? A sneak peek!

Gotta check out the bouy ball!

Finishing up the monkey bars...how long will it be before Katy figures this out?

The Periscope

The binoculars (they really don't seem to make things bigger.)

A shot from the back (by the field)

Putting up the beam for the covering.

This is the guys unrolling the covering tarp. It is so windy here...40-50 mph constant wind, that it was a hilarious scene.

OOPS! We need to change it around.

Out of respect for the guys, I had to pause in my picture taking because the wind was blowing their shirts up and they were a bit embarrassed! It's hard to pull a shirt down, hold a tarp, try to position it, and stand where you need to stand with 50 mph winds!

At last, the tarp is up!

Putting the flower boxes up (it looks like big cup holders, but each one - there are 7 total -holds 3 flower pots. I'll show you in a little a few more uses for flower boxes!)

It's time to set the children free! Guess where Katy went first!

It stinks to be small...watch this next progression! I told her she had to figure it out herself!

Look, Mommy! I did it!

The swings work!

All 3 swings work!

The view from above...it's pretty hard to get a shot with 3 kids swinging and see them all! I think I tried 4 times and gave up! This is the best I could do.

Jenna (the neighbor girl) tries out the bouy ball!

Jenna also mastered the monkey bars...Lilly tried, but didn't get too far, Katy fell off on my glasses, and I even tried and realized it will take some practice (I've had 2 separated shoulders, so maybe that's considered a handicap?)

Let's go upstairs and check it out!

Does she look happy? I think so!

Going back down!

Push me!

Abby? Can you help me? Abby is one of Jenna's older sisters (14).

I'll push you!

Look mom, I'm upside down! How do I get down?

My turn! My turn!

NOTE: It is absolutely essential that all parts of the play set get checked out to ensure they are acceptable!

Not shown: Chalk board (comes fully equipped with chalk and an eraser which has been predetermined not to stay outside!)

And now, last but not least:

Mommy gets a try too! Lilly wanted to make sure she got a good picture. It only took 2 to get this one!

The play set is officially ours. We have paid for it and at 1:30 they left to head back to Indianapolis to go do a play set add on. That yellow slide was getting installed on someone’s play set this afternoon.
If you are interested in coming to play, give me a call! We'd love to share the fun.

Hey, Bumpy? Can you come out and play?

Wow! Can I ask what company made and installed your swing set? It is beautiful!

Our playset is made by Rainbow play sets. Recreation Unlimited out of Noblesville set it up. We got in on an earlier bird special, so we got a FANTASTIC deal on delivery and set up. (besides...it sure beat listening to Phil try to set it up!) We would have had to pay more for delivery because we live outside the zone 1 delivery.

If you want more info, please drop me an email and I can get a catalog to you! If you decide to order from them, please let them know we referred you!
